Avery started Yuboo because she wanted every sleepover to feel like an event, not a pile of mattresses on the lounge floor. She was ten when the idea landed, eleven when the first teepees went out the door. Two generations back her up: Nana at the sewing machine, Mum running everything behind the scenes.
It's Avery's first business, and she runs it like one, tracking bookings, budgets, and what to reinvest in the next theme. It's the kind of learning no classroom teaches, and it's what the family is proudest of. Handmade linen & fabric
Every fitted sheet, duvet cover, throw and bunting that arrives at your door has been sewn by Nana, by hand, at her own machine.
She helps choose the themes and hand-picks the fabrics for each one, which is why nothing in a Yuboo setup looks like it came off a shelf. It's slower this way. It's also the reason the linen feels lovely, washes beautifully and looks like it was made for the room it's in, because it was.

Rachael keeps the engine running, the website, the Instagram, the messages, the calendar.
It's the unglamorous half of a small business, and it's what gives Avery the room to focus on the part she loves most: designing the setups and making the night feel like an event.
Founder & creative direction
Avery is the founder of Yuboo and the eye behind everything you see, the themes, the styling, the way each teepee is dressed right down to the last cushion.
She's the one who decides that a Tropical setup needs softer pillows, or that Pirate theme looks better with a bolder palette. "Little dreamers" was her phrase before it was ever a tagline. Every theme starts as a picture in her head, and she won't sign it off until the room feels the way she imagined it.
The Yuboo crew
Avery's friends come along to help with the setups. They carry the poles, fluff the cushions, string the bunting and argue happily about where the beds should go.
It isn't hired help, it's Avery sharing something she loves with the people she loves doing it with, and them getting to hand that same feeling to another kid and their friends. That's the part that makes Yuboo feel like a little community rather than just a party service.
