Question 1

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend 4–6 weeks ahead, especially for weekends, school holidays and party season. Last-minute magic does happen though — message us and we'll check the calendar.

Question 2

How do I secure my date?

Accepted Answer

A $100 deposit locks in your date, with the balance due the week before your sleepover. Until the deposit is paid, the date stays open to other enquiries.

Question 3

What if I need to cancel or move my date?

Accepted Answer

Life happens. Move your date free of charge with more than 14 days' notice, subject to availability. Inside 14 days the deposit is non-refundable, but we'll always do our best to find a new date for you.

Question 4

How much does a teepee sleepover party cost?

Accepted Answer

$320 for up to 4 beds, plus $50 for each extra bed. That includes delivery, styling, setup and next-day pickup within 20km of Birkenhead. From 21–30km there's a flat $100 travel fee.

Question 5

What is a teepee sleepover party?

Accepted Answer

It is a sleepover where every child gets their own styled teepee bed, set up in your home. We bring the teepees, airbeds, bedding, pillows, breakfast trays and themed decorations, set it all up before the party, and come back the next day to pack it away.

Question 6

How many children can you set up for?

Accepted Answer

Our standard package covers up to 4 beds, and you can add extra beds for $50 each. Our booking form goes up to 10 beds. For a bigger group, get in touch and we will check what we can do.

Question 7

What occasions do people book for?

Accepted Answer

Mostly birthday sleepovers, but also school holiday treats, end-of-term celebrations, cousins staying over and family movie nights.

Question 8

Are your themes just for girls?

Accepted Answer

No. We have themes for every kind of kid, including Gamer Zone, Pirate, Sports and Rainbow. You can also mix themes or design your own.

Question 9

Do you stay during the sleepover?

Accepted Answer

No. We set up, show you around the setup, and come back the next day to pack down. An adult needs to supervise the children while the setup is in your home.

Question 10

Do you provide food or a birthday cake?

Accepted Answer

We do not supply food. Each bed comes with a breakfast tray, ready for whatever you would like to serve in the morning.

Question 11

Is the setup safe for kids?

Accepted Answer

Everything sits low to the ground, and we do not use fairy lights or any plug-in lighting in our setups. If you would like some light after dark, our glow accessories need no flame or power.

Question 12

Can we keep the setup for a second night?

Accepted Answer

Yes, subject to availability. An extra night is $100. Just tick the option when you book and we will confirm by email.

Question 13

Do the kids get to keep anything?

Accepted Answer

Personalised name signs and add-on kits are theirs to keep. The teepees, bedding, plush toys and theme decorations stay with the setup and come home with us at pack down.

Question 14

Where do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

We're based in Birkenhead, Auckland. Delivery, setup and pickup are free within 20km — that covers the North Shore, central Auckland, the isthmus and most of the near west, south and east. From 21–30km (places like Orewa, Kumeū, Papakura and Beachlands) there's a flat $100 travel fee. Further afield, get in touch and we'll quote your trip. You can check your suburb on the pricing page.

Question 15

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Usually 60–90 minutes depending on the number of beds and add-ons. We confirm a delivery window with you the week before.

Question 16

When do you pack down?

Accepted Answer

We come back the following day, typically between 9am and midday. We'll agree a time that suits when we set up.

Question 17

How much space do I need?

Accepted Answer

Each teepee bed takes roughly 1m x 2m. Four beds fit comfortably in a space around 4m x 3m — most lounges and rumpus rooms work perfectly. Send us a photo of the room if you're unsure.

Question 18

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Accepted Answer

Clear the floor space where you'd like the setup, move any fragile items out of the way, and pop pets in another room while we style. That's it.

Question 19

Can you set up outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Our setups are designed for indoors. We can style a fully covered, dry, flat area like a sleepout or enclosed deck — just check with us first, as we can't risk the linens getting damp.

Question 20

What age is this suitable for?

Accepted Answer

Loved by little dreamers aged 4 and up. The setup is soft, low to the ground and gentle — including for grown-up kids at heart.

Question 21

Can I mix two themes?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Mixing themes or asking for a specific colour palette is no problem with a little notice — just tell us what you have in mind.

Question 22

What's included with every setup?

Accepted Answer

A teepee frame per bed, airbed and fitted sheet, duvet, cover and pillow, breakfast tray per bed, plus free delivery, setup and pickup within 20km.

Question 23

Will my setup look exactly like the photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every item shown is part of that theme's kit. We've used AI to polish the lighting and backgrounds, but we haven't added or changed any items. Occasionally an item may be damaged or unavailable. If so, we'll contact you before your event to agree on a close replacement.

Question 24

Is the bedding washed between hires?

Accepted Answer

Always. Every sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase and plush item is freshly laundered between every single hire — no exceptions.

Question 25

What happens if something gets damaged?

Accepted Answer

Accidents happen and small wear and tear is on us. Significant damage, staining or loss may incur a replacement fee, which we'll always discuss with you first.

Question 26

Are food and drinks okay around the setup?

Accepted Answer

Water is fine, but please keep food, juice, slime and paint away from the teepees and linens. The breakfast trays are perfect for a morning treat once everything is protected.
